The 9G visa in the Philippines
  1. Secure a job offer from a PEZA-registered company in the Philippines.
  2. The employer should apply for a PEZA Certificate of Registration (COR) and a PEZA Special Visa for Employment Generation (SVEG) for the foreign employee.
  3. Once the COR and SVEG have been granted, the employee can apply for a 9G visa at the Philippine embassy or consulate in their home country.
  4. The employee will need to submit the following documents to the embassy or consulate:
    • Passport (valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay in the Philippines)
    • Visa application form
    • One recent passport-sized photo
    • PEZA COR and SVEG
    • Employment contract or letter of appointment
    • Police clearance certificate from the applicant's home country
    • Medical certificate from a DOH-accredited clinic in the applicant's home country

  1. Tourist Visa - This visa is for foreign nationals who wish to visit the Philippines for tourism or leisure purposes. The visa is usually valid for 30 days but can be extended for another 29 days.
